Christmas Ramblings

I had an early Christmas with half of my family this weekend and have already made out with a new suitcase and some very, very, masculine bed sheets. The kind that say, "See that deer on the wall, I killed it with nothing but a rock I threw from a hundred yards away." I guess my family was worried why I'd been still sleeping in the very feminine hand me down sheets I got years ago. Huh, I'd never really noticed... I've got this awful cold that everybody seems to have right now around me. Ugh... I'm not used to being sick and am a terrible "sick" when I am. Not like those practiced "sicks" who say things like, "Oh, I got it. Don't worry, I'll be fine. It's just a little sneeze. " I feel like I'm lying in bed with a look on my face like, "What will death really be like?" I think it all started with Brad, our video director who flew to California a few weeks back. He was here to tape the Coach House Show (one of our biggest Christmas shows ever!) and the TH Books For Kids concert at Palm Desert Middle School (Also, our biggest. We raised over six grand. Check out THBooksForKids.org to hear what we're doing with it and all that...) and was at the tail end of it. He passed it along to my dad who had a terrible week with it and warned me, "Tyler, take your vitamins. If you get this...I'm telling you..." Then I got it. Gave it to my friend, Heidi, who I hadn't seen in awhile and, you know, had to hug. I needed to take something back to a store that I got for my mom that she won't use and they wouldn't take it back so I waited to shake the clerk's hand to give them my sick. Is that bad? It's not good... Remember! The costumer is always sick or is it their always right? Have a very, Merry Christmas or any other holiday you're celebrating this year that I can't spell. What's come out of this year will be available to everyone next year! "Charlie Bartlett"! The new record! Touring! Thank god for 2007 because I can't think of any other way I'd have gotten to 2008. Be good to each other and we'll talk soon...
